We went to Chang Mai last weekend with Justin's parents. Chang Mai is in the north of Thailand and was a very impressive city. It was extremely clean, which we have not found in the many other Thai cities we have visited. It was an overall great weekend, we stayed at a really amazing boutique hotel, we ate delicious Thai food, went to the spa several times, saw the city, monkeys, fish, temples and much much more.
This was our first night on the balcony of our room. We went to a fantastic dinner that night at the Chedi Hotel.
This is Thomas and Sheena on a Tuk Tuk. That was our main form of transportation there.
We visited a fish spa. You pay to stick your feet in fish tanks where these tiny fish suck on your skin. They say it removes your dead skin, but not so sure how much it did. I hated the feeling at first and could only put one foot at a time in. Justin was a trooper and kept both legs in for almost 30 mins. Ewwww.
