Justin and I were due for our normal cleaning and we still have never taken Charlie to the dentist. I believe they are supposed to go after getting their first teeth. Well Charlie has all his teeth, besides the last molars which are due soon! So it was time for all of us. We let Charlie watch me get cleaned. Then it was his turn. The dentist was so nice and let Charlie play with all her instruments. He especially loved the one that squirted water, Mommy was not as impressed since I was the one getting drenched. They also let Charlie brush this starfish stuffed animal that had a full set of teeth to show him what they were going to do. When the time came for the dentist to tell him to open his mouth, he did! Just like that. No big deal for our Charlie. I was so impressed. He really always does so well in any doctor environment. He gets very serious and does as he is told. It was super cute to witness. We were very proud of him.
