Another morning in the Botanics

We had a very active morning in the Botanics today.  Charlie collected every leaf in sight and brought them to me.

I then got my morning workout in by playing with Charlie.  Seriously throwing him around is no joke these days.  I really worked up a sweat.
Charlie is very independent now and runs off on his own.  There were lots of other kids around and people blowing bubbles so he was enjoying watching everyone and running back and forth.

Another successful Saturday morning if you ask me :).

Happy Boy

And yes I was forced to add that!

Big Boy!!

Charlie is such a big boy these days.  He no longer wants to be fed breakfast, he happily feeds himself.  It lasted through half of his oatmeal this morning, then he got board.  But still he is growing up fast isn't he!

Cable Cars

We took the cable cars over to Sentosa today.  For some reason I thought I had done this with my mom before, but she had never been on them.  It is a fun touristy thing to do.  It was a spectacular day to do it, such beautiful blue skies.  They gave us funny masks when we got on, Charlie wore his almost the whole trip over!  Once we got to Sentosa we had a little break at Starbucks then rode the Tiger Sky Tower.  Again, there was fantastic views and I think my mom really enjoyed doing something new here.

Tanjong Beach Club

I have a friend who is leaving Singapore and she had a little going away party at Tanjong Beach Club in Sentosa on Sunday.  Since it was a Sunday the whole fam bam came along to enjoy the beach.    Charlie splashed around in the ocean and ate sand most the time.  He is much more comfortable on the beach now then he was a few months ago.  At one point he took off running on his own into the water. It was SO hot, and I got a little sunburned, but it was a lovely interlude to our day.

Riverside walks

We start most days with walking around the river.  We usually stop and get a coffee and let Charlie run around.  This is one of the many reasons I love where we live. There is always so many families and birds out and about which are both highly entertaining for Charlie also.

Where are your pants?

You can find Charlie pantless most days when we are home.  I think it is so cute when he runs around in his diaper.
