Kite Festival

Last weekend we went to a Kite Festival at West Coast Park.  Sometimes you see flyers for events in Singapore and you go and the turnout isn't great, but this festival really delivered.  There were so many people and it was really well organized with loads of entertainment from bubbles, face painting, clowns, music and obviously loads of kites! The boys loved it.  They all got a free kite to practice and loved running off with their kites flying high behind them.

Bali

This update is for you G G. 

We recently took a trip to Bali with a bunch of friends.  There were 17 of us including our 3 babysitters. It was so fun to have Charlie's best friends along on vacation.  It made pool time and the beach so much more entertaining for him.  We went for a long weekend and stayed in Nusa Dua. The hotel pool was really beautiful and we also spent a few days at the beach.

At one point on the flight there, we had three boys in the seat between me and Justin and they were transfixed watching the movie Cars.

One of Charlie's favorite parts had to be the airport in Bali.  You walk to and from the plane so you are right next to all the other big planes and he really got to see them up close.  We were the last one to board because we kept stopping for pictures, I am sure all the other passengers were pleased with that.
